MOND is the alternate science , if you want to discuss this item. Such home made mechanics was the speciality of Gwendolyn. Since we do not have an explanation to the force of gravity, the door is open to various speculations. The most accepted explanation to observations is the existence of dark matter, but there might be a revolution in science, but I would not bet on it.
